Gen X in 3 Color Palettes

Born between 1965-1978, Generation X was a group largely misunderstood.

While originally stereotyped to be well educated yet dissatisfied with the world they inherited, this group has long since grown up, adapted and learned to thrive in a world they’ve helped shape.

Effortless Contemporary

Our Effortless Contemporary palette reflects that attitude, with neutrals such as Accolade and Wayward Winds complementing bold accents like Blue Zephyr and Golden Grass.

Vintage Mash-Up

In our Vintage Mash-Up color scheme, Gooseberry and Volcanic Ash accents neutrals such as Toasted Almond and Free Reign.

Generation X is far more computer savvy than Boomers, but not as much as Millennials. Older Xers tended to have children in their twenties and follow many of the same life timelines as young Boomers –  albeit in their own way. Younger Xers, however, were more likely to hold off on raising families until their early and even late 30s. It’s just as common for a 42-year-old today to be parent to an adult child as it is for them to have a toddler.

Urban Mixology

Our Urban Mixology paint colors complement that lifestyle with a pop of Heart’s Content next to a neutral such as Silver Charm.
