LIQUID NAILS adhesive products resist water penetration. However, none of our products should be used below the waterline or immersed in water for long periods of time (e.g., pools, aquariums). Substrates must be structurally sound, clean and dry (not powdery, chalky or flaky), and without excessive movement for bonding and application.
No. Once a product has dried, the solvents have dissipated and it becomes inert. It is often the solvents in solvent based products that are flammable or toxic.
If applicable, we recommend bracing the application overnight. LIQUID NAILS adhesive will reach its maximum strength within 7 days. Actual dry time may vary with temperature, humidity, substrates and product technology. Please refer to the individual product label and technical data sheet for specific dry/cure times by product.

Cross-ventilation is necessary when using LIQUID NAILS products. Some odor may remain for a while, but odor usually lasts less than 24 hours.
No. LIQUID NAILS construction adhesive and caulk products remain flexible to allow for expansion and contraction of the substrates to ensure long term durability. The flexibility allows the adhesive and caulk to move with the substrates causing less bonding failures.
